Very friendly office staff and no wait at all! I actually saw the physicians assistant which I guess is standard for the consultation. He was knowledgeable, made feel super comfortable and most importantly thoroughly explained everything. Will definitely go back if needed.

It was just ok. None of the professionals show much concern for the distress my condition is causing me. I feel like I’m a bother to them.

Everyone is right - he has a cold demeanor but seemed thorough in his examination. Reluctant to diagnose or to treat - doesn’t seem to care enough to actually address or get to the root of my problem sadly. Will have to try another doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Kaminetsky for many years. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable and with his PA Emeka and nursing staff I have received many thorough checkups for testerone, PSA, prostate, etc.. His medical staff and his officestaff are polite and go out of their way to assist all patients. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kaminetsky to anyone looking for an outstanding urologist.

I have been seeing Dr. Kaminetsky for over two years for BPH. At first, he treated my condition with medication, but because it did not improve, I just had a green light laser procedure. That was very successful with a veryquick recovery. So, I’ve been very satisfied with his care and recommend him highly. Probably one of the best physicians I’ve ever had. Yes, his office is very busy. But that’s probably because he’s so highly regarded and accepts so many insurance plans. His staff is professional, friendly and extremely responsive.

Dr. Kaminetsky is a great doctor but never looks you in the eye. He spends his entire time looking at his computer and always seems like he is thinking about something other than what you are saying. It is hard to tell if he is actually listening to you.

Everyone was fairly pleasant but when I expressed no interest in medicating, Dr. Kamintsky was not interested in discussing alternatives and had a binary attitude of "well, you either take meds for the rest of your life or you don't". Noconsideration that perhaps there might be other items outside of pharma that might help to alleviate the condition. No other discussion. I also had two additional tests conducted. One was never reviewed besides that it came back ok (I should have asked in-depth questions) and other results were not available despite the NYU Langone portal that should make all the results accessible. "Next please" is the motto for everyone involved.

Dr. Kaminetsky is standard, but the office staff needs improvement. This in particularly the front desk. They are not that busy and really don't have it organize. Besides seeing them looking for stuff that they should know right away, the doctorthought I had the urine sample done which was not taken care of at the beginning. This easily delayed the session by 10-15 mintues. I was basically in the examine room about half an hour and most of the time is waiting.

Wasn't overly impressed. Took a while to be seen, felt a bit rushed, perhaps because I was the last appointment. Had gone in for potential prostatitis. Doctor was slightly condescending when reviewing sexual health and chalked my issues upto a potential std, which two prior tests and one performed by Jed all proved negative. He was thorough in his review, but wasn't the best experience.

Friendly office staff with a fairly short wait. However, Dr. Kaninetsky lacked the consideration of a proper diagnosis to a serious problem. I received more so of a 'walk it off' analysis than something of worth. His personality & demeanor wasnot to my liking and I cannot confidently say I recommend him as a urologist. He did however identify a separate serious issue of which I was unaware of prior to the appointment.
