“My pcp suggested me to see a cardiologist (I didn’t know what was wrong and not expecting anything to happen since I’m kind of young) I found Dr Bander from zocdoc. I just waited for 5-10 minutes before the EKG technician saw me. The technician explained every single step clearly and made me feel comfortable. The doctor however didn’t seem to care that much he rushed me through. Anyways he said I’m health and hopefullt that is correct ”

Jeffrey Bander M.D. received his M.D. degree from Harvard University in 2004. He successfully completed his internal medicine residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Columbia University Medical Center in 2007 and his Cardiology Fellowship at Mt. Sinai Hospital. Dr. Bander is board certified in Cardiology. Dr. Bander is a proud member of the American Heart Association and has received honors for his leadership of the AHA Fellows society. Dr. Bander is involved in cutting edge cardiac research and is the primary investigator of two large studies at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

The staff at the office were GREAT. Dr. Bander, however, does not appear to like being around people. I could barely get a question in before he ran out of the room. His behavior was the same on two separate visits. I would describe his interaction with his other staff as combative. All of his staff, however, were extremely professional, timely, and helpful.

First, I was late and yet they were so kind and accommodating, registration was quick and the medical receptionist was proactive with correcting my medical record error which had my names backwards. The entire staff, from medical receptionists to medical assistant and the doctor were all profession, respectful and kind. After registration I was seen within less than 20mins. Dr. Bander listen to my list of symptoms and health complains, he narrowed down my pain and ordered some test. I trust him so far, and I am looking for to getting my complete diagnosis after my upcoming test, and to be treated under his care.

The wait was very long and I found the doctor's bedtime manner unsatisfactory. I understand it was during the afternoon but my appointment felt rushed and I felt like I was waisting his time.

The Doctor and the EKG Technician were excellent when we were finally able to see them. The receptionist was a truly rude person from the moment we walked in, he seemed to have no understanding of the fact that I was there to support a Developmentally disabled man, and seemed only annoyed at the fact that we'd made the reservation with ZocDoc, as if we'd done something bad to him by making the reservation that way. I constantly interact with medical professionals in the course if my job, and I've never met a receptionist who was so obviously not meant for his job, and unaware of how uncomfortable his attitude made people around him. Once we saw Dr. Vander, everything was very smooth, professional and friendly

The doctor and staff were genuinely accommodating in regards to my lateness. I was nervous that they would turn me away but they did not. The doctor was very direct and informative in regards to my health. I would definitely recommend this doctor to anyone who needs to see a cardiologist. His professional demeanor and knowledge of his field makes him trustworthy. Would definitely go to him again if needed.

The office staff was very attentive and got me in to the Dr Bander very quickly. Dr Bander had a great bedside manner, was very patient, and took a lot of time to explain my issues and the recommended course that would work best. It was clear that he is very knowledgeable in his field.

Dr Bander is a great doctor! He listened carefully to what I had to say about my symptoms and complains and answered all my question in a very clear and understanding manner. The doctor waited for us we were late and I admit that was our wrong. However the office in Franklin ave in Brooklyn is a complete disaster. There's no seats in the room where he see's you, lack of medical equipment and it looks run down. Also he talks to other people while he's dealing with you. Overall not a good experience.

Dr. Bander is one of the most thorough and effective doctors I have ever been to. I cannot speak highly enough about Mt. Sinai and its exceptional patient care.
