Dr. Palacios works with patients ages 12 and up and has a wide range of experiences including inpatient and outpatient work, in hospital and office settings. He has been the attending physician for general adult populations as well as other specialty units. With experience in community, behavioral health hospitals, PHP programs, and corrections, Dr. Palacios has great depth of experience and is a critical part of the Clinical Care Consultants team. Specializing in adolescent and adult care, he addresses a spectrum of conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, eating disorders, and substance abuse.
With the experience of more intensive environments, Dr. Palacios' outpatient work is focused on a more holistic approach to mental wellness, emphasizing the importance of therapy alongside medication management. Whether seeking medication for the first time, or transitioning to maintenance medication after more intensive stabilization, Dr. Palacios works cooperatively with other therapists and healthcare professionals for positive change.
Dr. Jeff Palacios completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago and earned his medical degree from Loyola University. He then underwent residency training at Tufts New England Medical Center and has 25 years of experience spanning Illinois and Massachusetts.

The format of the video visit was on zoom and sent just before the visit, which I thought was a little odd, and it didn't work on my phone even though I have the app. But it worked fine on my computer, just a heads up. The doctor was fantastic. He's so compassionate and connected with me. He has an impressive background and has seen all types of issues in several different settings. He is good at finding a treatment plan that I as the patient am informed about and comfortable with.
