Verified patient
I had a short wait and they were very friendly and easy to work with. He personally called me with my MRI results and suggested best course of action. I also had to follow up with them to get a dr note and his assistant sent this to me. I highly recommend!
Verified patient
Dr. Kaplan was very professional. He listened to my concerns without me feeling rushed. His bedside manner was excellent. He had X-rays of my knees taken right in his office which I liked because I did not have to run around the city. He explained the outcome to me showing me my X-rays and using a model of the knee. His staff was also very courteous and professional.
Verified patient
Dr. Kaplan always sits down and has a conversation with me. I like that he listens to my concerns prior to making any decisions about treatment. He's very thorough and considers all options and discusses them directly with you and allows you to be part of the process.
Verified patient
Dr. Kaplan was amazing. He was friendly, patient, had a sense of humor, and did I mention he was patient? He told me the weird name of the issue I was having with my knee about 30 times because I couldn't remember it, and he used a model of a knee and even drew pictures to help explain what was going on and how it could be fixed. Highly recommend him, especially after reading a lot of horror stories about other orthopedic surgeons. His staff was also very courteous and efficient.

I brought my MRI and X-ray files - he went through them and explained in detail what was going on. I was very pleasantly surprised after having had a terrible experience with a previous orthopedists. He was able to catch the root cause from the x-ray file, that the previous doctors couldn't catch. Very nice and made me feel comfortable, and didn't make me feel rushed. Answered all my questions. Highly recommend.
great on all fronts! Would definitely recommend.

The Doctor and his staff were very professional.
Dr Kaplan didn't make me feel rushed at all and was patient as I asked him lots of questions, to which he gave thoughtful, reasoned answers. I would definitely see him again if I have another issue and his past experience as a runner is extremely helpful.
Second orthopedist I've seen in the city, came mostly because first one would take weeks to see. After seeing Dr. Kaplan I realize how much worse the first one was. Dr. Kaplan is great and takes his time when your seeing him, it doesn't feel like he thinks he already knows the answer and wants to rush you out for the next patient (and he genuinely seems to care).
He was great. They have An X-ray facility there so they don't send you all around the city. His bedside manner is great and he didn't mind all of my questions. He also encouraged me to get back to playing rugby versus many doctors who tell you to stop after an injury
Extremely professional and knowledgeable.
Great Doctor if you're looking to be seen for running/ marathon/ triathlon injuries. He's a runner himself and knows what he's talking about. He also recommended me for PT nearby.
Amazing doctor, explained everything fully and was very thorough. I was in and out in 45 minutes, which included onsite x-rays too. Great experience!
My only complaint is that I waited about 25 minutes before I was seen. Once we started, the diagnosis was efficient; doc was knowledgeable, provided good explanations and clearly detailed the options available to me for next steps.
Dr. Kaplan was much better than the last orthopedist who saw me. He actually spent a few minutes talking to me, took xrays, studied the xrays, showed me the xrays and explained them to me, and suggested activities to specifically fix the things in the xrays. This is as opposed to a doctor who felt my knee, stretched it, said that it gets harder to run as you age, and told me to stretch my hamstring and work out my quads, but that's it. Dr. Kaplan told me that wasn't specific enough -- my quads were strong, but one was weaker than the others and throwing my knee off when I ran, giving me pain. Essentially, he was more thorough and didn't dismiss me.

Dr. Kaplan was wonderful!
Didn't feel like he cared that much about figuring out what was wrong. Just made some quick go-to recommendations and then ordered x-rays even though he had reassured me that I didn't have anything that would require an xray...but to be safe. He was incredibly nice otherwise. Easy to talk to and funny.
Though there were a lot of patients in the waiting room, things seemed to move quickly and Dr. Kaplan was great. Very nice; very thorough; I recommend.
Very thorough and methodical.
I came to Dr. Kaplan to get a 2nd opinion on a condition I was diagnosed with by a different doctor. Dr. Kaplan took the time to explain the condition and what my options were for a resolution. I think Dr. Kaplan was very thoughtful in determining an appropriate course of action instead of immediately recommending surgery as the first doctor I saw did.
He explained everything very carefully and discussed options with me. He did not talk down to me at all. He also took quite a bit of time looking over my MRI very carefully, even though he had a written report – he wanted to see it for himself. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Kaplan is a very knowledgeable doctor who explains things in a straight-forward and regular English kind of way. Waiting time was less than 10 minutes and they are very good about staying on track. With that being said, he makes sure that you understand what is happening with you injury and takes the time to make sure you feel comfortable with everything he has explained.
Verified patient
Took the time to actually explain what was going on with my knee. Breaks everything down into normal people language and so that you really understand the problem. Went through a couple solutions with me and discussed what the best option is. Need to get surgery and will post an update post-surgery.
Verified patient
First impressions matter and Dr. Kaplan did an excellent job of not only explaining my condition thoroughly but also in taking the time to treat me like a person rather than just another patient in his schedule. His bedside manner is exemplary and his communication skills are top notch. Go see this doctor for what ails you.
He was very thorough and was certain of a diagnosis almost immediately. He wasted no time in prescribing exactly what I needed. He did not push the solution of surgery though with most surgeons that is what I have experienced.
Very friendly and caring doctor. He was one of the few doctors i've been to where i could tell he genuinely cared about my health and care. Highly recommended.
Really great experience!
Verified patient
Dr. Kaplan and his staff are great! There was no wait, and I had an xray done there and Dr. Kaplan went over the results five minutes later. He went over all of my options and answered my questions. Overall, a great experience.
