“Spent longer in waiting room than office. No one advised me on changing into a gown for a check up till the doctor was in the room and she wanted to know why I was still in my clothes. She did not seem interested in seeing me for a full skin check up just wanted to know what I wanted out of the appointment. Was given a prescription with no advice on care or even what my ailment was. Was not informed my insurance was not accepted till 3 weeks after visit when I was given an email. I specifically asked if they accepted my insurance when I got to the office and the front desk said yes. Scheduled for surgery one month out from original appointment. After finding out it is not covered by insurance I will not be back.”

I like Dr. Nelson, the office and staff but waiting over an hour for a scheduled appointment is ridiculous.

Dr. Nelson was nice however I waited over an hour to see her for all of 10 minutes if that. I understand the office may get busy but my insurance and I still pay the same amount. It would be nice if they were more respectable of the patient’s time. The office also needed to clean the chair in the rooms. Mine was covered in animal and human hair.

She was really fast. She didn’t tell me the medications I was going to put on and all the important details. I felt rushed and I didn’t like it. Won’t be going back.
Dr Nelson was great

Dr. Nelson was Very friendly, and professional. She answered my questions, listened to my concerns, and gave a plan of action to help my medical needs. I look forward to seeing her again.
Verified patient
Dr. Nelson is very nice and easy to talk to. My concern with my office visit was that the next steps were unclear and I was a little confused with the paperwork, which seemed to list various prescriptions instead of focusing on the prescriptions prescribed that day. Towards the end of my session things just seemed rushed and confused.
Excellent

Very friendly front desk and Dr. Nelson was so nice. She has a friendly and personable demeanor and she answered all of my questions. She put my mind at ease. It was a lovely visit.
The office itself (waiting room, hall and exam room) were immaculate. The lovely woman at the desk was polite, friendly, kind, thoughtful, professional and efficient. I was taken back at my appointment time and seen in a timely manner. Dr. Nelson was cheerful, thorough, professional, friendly, and knew why I was there and was well prepared. Everyone was really nice and the experience was top notch!

I loved the friendly, engaging bedside manner of Dr. Nelson. She listened to each of my concerns and I didn't feel rushed or made to feel like my issues weren't valid. I'm sure I'll have a very long relationship with this practice.

It was a short appointment, hard to judge

It was interesting to say the least. She was civil, and gave some interesting information, however I do not think she will be a solid fit with the existing team of medical doctors I have for management of my general health and well being. I was excited at the prospect of giving her information to the other sisters in my circle, but I’m not sure that would be advantageous based on my initial encounter.
Dr Nelson was on time (only waited in the wxm room for about 5 minutes). Her bedside manner was wonderful. She was professional and knowledgable. Ut was a great experience.

Exceptionally professional, friendly, and courteous! Very happy Dr Nelson is in my community. I expect to be a long-term customer?

Terrible doctor and experience. I arrived to my 15 mins early (2:15) and wasn’t seen until 3:40, only after I threatened to leave and continued to question the staff. Dr. Nelson was among the staff members i questioned and she blew me off. She scurried into a patient’s room and then saw me. I didn’t know she was the doctor all along because she was sitting gossiping with the nurses.

My appt. was one of the best experiences with a Dr. in quite a few moons. Dr. Nelson is very friendly, listened to my concerns, offered outstanding alternatives and presented every option in ways I could understand. And her staff was equally patient. Looking forward to my follow up.

The front desk staff was incredible - very sweet and welcoming. (and I can't stress that enough. My low rating has absolutely nothing to do with them) However, when I was seen by the doctor for small patches of dry skin on my face, I was basically shamed. I was not treated like an adult, but like a misbehaving child. I was mocked for trying to remove dry skin with gentle exfoliants. I was told I wear too much makeup (sorry, mascara and mineral foundation is too much?) and that I was probably just allergic to the coconut oil I use at night to remove said makeup. I quote - "Do you have allergies?" "Well, sometime." "Yes or no?" "Seasonally, sure, yes." "You do realize that coconut oil is coconut pollen, right?" (side note - I am not allergic to coconut at all) She then prescribed something without telling me and I got a call from the pharmacy 2 days later asking when I would be there to pick it up. So, no, I do not suggest you visit this doctor. I understand everyone has bad days, but even on bad days, a doctor should not be treating a patient like they are irrelevant.
Dr Nelson is great, she takes her time and recommends several treatment options to try. I have only seen her twice and my issues are better. I highly recommend Dr Nelson.

I enjoy giving my business to local businesses but this experience has made me reconsider. My appointment was at 3 PM (6/27) and I filled out all the paper work prior to arrival. I was not called back until 3:30 PM and was told at 3:45 PM that their was an emergency and that Dr. Nelson would be a while due to the emergency, which was fine. The assistant broke HIPPA law and told me what was going on with the patient. When Dr. Nelson came in at 4:15 PM, she started speaking to me aggressively. It’s caught me off guard so i just sat back and looked at her. She would ask a question and immediately interrupt your answer and also rush your thinking process. She shows no empathy nor speak in laymen’s terminology. She demeans you and does not recognize her negative energy she gives off. When she got up to leave she apologized for the wait and left me waiting now (15 minutes and counting ) up front. This is just unprofessional period. Needless to say I will not be doing a follow up.
Very good, thorough, and personable.
