Hello! I’m Dr. Jennifer Chung, a board-certified internist and former primary care physician with over a decade of clinical experience. Now, I specialize in functional and lifestyle medicine and help adult men and women address chronic health concerns through a personalized, root-cause–focused approach. My passion is empowering patients with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to take charge of their health. I’m especially passionate about early detection and prevention—because preventing disease is far more powerful than treating it after the fact. I knew I wanted to be a doctor from a young age and pursued rigorous medical training to become the best physician I could be—completing my undergraduate and medical education at the University of Virginia, internal medicine residency at Duke University Hospital, and geriatric fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis. It wasn’t until I discovered functional and lifestyle medicine, however, that I finally found a way to help patients go beyond disease management and create real, lasting health.
