Hi, my name is Jennifer Richello and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Clinical Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Robert Morris University. I see patients in Connecticut via telehealth only. I specialize in medication management and therapy services for the treatment of PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, OCD, and Anger Management for individuals aged 18 and older. I combine traditional psychiatric care with complementary and holistic therapies, offering personalized treatment that helps you gain a deeper understanding of your symptoms. I use evidence-based practices incorporating functional and integrative medicine to address your physical and emotional well-being. I also collaborate with your other providers and provide education on psychopharmacology and psychotherapy techniques to empower you to take an active role in your treatment. I found that my approach is excellent for those who do not feel "heard" by other providers. I am very thorough, and I want to get to know my patients and help them identify the root causes of issues so they can take the steps to start healing. Many of my patients have complex trauma/PTSD with multiple medical conditions or other psychiatric conditions, like Bipolar, Anxiety, OCD, Depression, and many others. I am passionate about working with first responders, healthcare professionals, veterans, and minority populations. My communication style is very direct, but my personality is very down-to-earth, encouraging, motivating, energetic, and empathetic. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything. I pride myself on my ability to listen without judgment and for my patients to leave an appointment feeling heard, understood, and encouraged.
