Getting to know Jenny Titus
Hi there, I'm Jenny!
My name is Jenny Titus and I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in Worland, Wyoming. I am a Wyoming native and enjoy working with rural populations. I see all ages for medication management. Although I am licensed to counsel, I only provide medication management.
My approach
My approach varies based on the needs of each client I work with. If we are not able to find the right medication the first time, I often recommend and complete pharmacogenomic testing to help guide therapy. I closely track medical concerns. My belief is that you cannot treat the brain without treating the rest of the body.
My focus
Living and working in the Wyoming mental health system since 2001, I have treated all ages. The vast majority of my clients are healthy individuals who are struggling with anxiety or depression that is situational and they do not know where to turn for mental health. Most Wyoming residents will seek mental health services from their primary care provider first. We are hoping to change that pattern and telehealth is one of the tools that has helped us start that change. I also see clients face-to-face and in multiple settings to improve access to care.

My journey to mental healthcare
I graduated from Casper College with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2000. I immediately went to work as a neuroscience nurse at Wyoming Medical Center. I continued my education through the University of Wyoming, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2002. In 2001, I took a job as a nurse for the State of Wyoming at a local mental health center. I continued to work full-time as an RN while completing my Master of Science in Nursing through the University of South Alabama. I graduated as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in December, 2005.
