“I had a terrible experience at this office a few years ago but that provider seems to be gone and Dr. Awerman was her opposite. Dr. Awerman and her assistant were warm, polite and professional and made the appointment comfortable and smooth. I had plenty of time to ask questions and my questions were answered thoroughly.”

About Dr. Jessica Awerman
Dr. Jessica Awerman grew up in Massachusetts. She graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a B.S. in biology. She attended the Tufts University School of Medicine, graduating with the research honors in addition to being elected a member of the medical honors society (Alpha Omega Alpha) and community service honors society (Honos Civicus). She completed her internship at Newton Wellesley Hospital doing a transitional year program working in both internal medicine and surgery. Dr. Awerman completed her first year of dermatology residency at the UT Southwestern Medical Center Department of Dermatology in Dallas, Texas and then transferred home to Tufts Medical Center Department of Dermatology in Boston, MA for her remaining two years. She has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at national meetings. In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling and spending time with family.

Dr. Awerman was great. My 12 year old son felt comfortable right away. She was knowledgeable and her treatment plan is working really well.
