I am a Registered Dietitian originally from Tremont, IL, who currently lives and works in Morton, IL. I earned my Bachelor's degree and a Master's in Dietetics from Illinois State University. Before becoming a Registered Dietitian, I worked as a Sanitarian, completing health inspections for the local community. My career path has allowed me to work in a variety of settings and gain in-depth knowledge on multiple nutrition-related topics. With a strong background in nutrition and an active career as an RD, I am passionate about helping clients find healthy habits that align with their lifestyle goals and improve their overall quality of life. As a nutrition professional, I take pride in staying up to date on the most science-based research and providing this information to clients in a way they can incorporate into real-life practice. I believe that everyone can achieve a nutritious lifestyle. Outside of work, I recharge by spending time with my family and leading an active lifestyle. Zumba is one of my favorite pastimes! What I appreciate most about my job is being able to pursue both my personal goals and professional passions with equal gusto-honestly, I think it makes me a better healthcare professional, wife, mother, and overall person.
