About Jessica Schoening

Hi! I'm Jessica Schoening, family nurse practitioner, and founder of Wanderlust Wellness. I was introduced to telemedicine when Covid began, and instantly fell in love with how accessible, affordable, and convenient it was for my patients. Unfortunately, most telemedicine companies during that time were start-ups, and when the market started to decline in 2023, these companies quickly shifted their focus from accessible and trustworthy care to sustainable profitability. My goal with Wanderlust Wellness is to bring back the personalized telemedicine experience that helped so many people in 2020. Our vision is to remove the red tape and protocols that prevent practitioners from offering their patients the best individualized and meaningful care. Throughout my career I have treated conditions ranging from mental health to diabetes, and everything in between. I have seen how great telemedicine can be in the right setting, and I know how to make it work for both our Patients and our Practitioners. Prior to telemedicine, I practiced in a women’s health clinic in Austin, Texas caring for women of all ages and stages of life including pregnancy and menopause. In 2024, we're bringing back private, personalized virtual care in a meaningful way with a focus on YOU!
