“Overall, things were fine. No co-pay was taken so I don’t know what kind of bill I’m going to get. My prescription was outsourced to one in Scottsdale because it’s a compounding pharmacy. Not sure how that’s gonna be covered under my prescription plan, but we’ll find out. Difficult to find the correct building because where your appointment says you’re going is actually to a different dermatology office. US dermatology Associates is a completely separate building from the doctors office, which is considered BKC dermatology. Not sure why BKC dermatology can’t be texted on my appointment confirmation so I don’t get lost. Filling out paperwork when you get there kind of defeats the purpose of doing it when you get texted to do it online. And then it doesn’t show up at their computer.”

About Dr. Jinmeng Zhang
Dr. Zhang earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. She remained in Detroit for her internship at St. John Hospital & Medical Center. Dr. Zhang attended Washington University in St. Louis for dermatology residency where she was named Chief Resident.
Dr. Zhang has several family members who are physicians, which was a big influence on her decision to practice medicine. During her undergrad at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Dr. Zhang minored in art studio, so the field of dermatology was a natural draw for her. “I wanted to have a career that would allow me to draw on my creative side and I found that dermatology would do just that”, says Dr. Zhang. “This specialty involves a balance of visual diagnostic expertise and dexterity on the one hand and a solid knowledge of pathology on the other. It’s deeply gratifying to be able to help my patients while doing what I love”. Dr. Zhang believes that medicine is a two-way street that requires partnership between provider and patient. She finds it very rewarding to get to know her patients, come to understand their individual needs, and work with them to decide on the best treatment plan.
Dr. Zhang has presented several interesting and rare cases at dermatology conferences and her research has been published in journals in the United States and United Kingdom. To stay up to date with new medical developments, she reads current literature, attends dermatology meetings, and has ongoing academic dialogues with her colleagues. In addition, her professional organizations—the American Academy of Dermatology and the Christian Medical Association, keep her abreast of the latest goings-on in the field.
Dr. Zhang was born in China and is fluent in Mandarin. Her family moved to the U.S. when she was 10 years old where they mostly lived in the Midwest. Prior to relocating to Phoenix, Dr. Zhang practiced in Hawaii for five years. Outside of work, Dr. Zhang enjoys traveling.

I was blown away honestly. Usually it takes up to a couple of hours to be seen by doctors but I was brought back to the roomwithin 15 minutes of arriving and seen by the doctor within 5 minutes after that. The process itself took no more than 30ish minutes. I HIGHLY recommend coming here! Everyone was very friendly. I loved it and will definitely be back for any future needs I may have!

This office does not have an efficient booking system. They couldn’t find my appointment that I booked online and me waste my time when I showed up. Very unprofessional and unorganized. Do not recommend.

The behavior of the provider was not well towards me. She was not cordial listening to my questions. She seemed like I owe something to her. Very disappointed. I met other dermatologists in arizona, they are so well behaved and listened to my every words and acted decent. I don't recommend this doctor. This is my mistake that I have seen her.

I needed a new dermatologist since mine had to retire quickly to take care of her mother. This was my first visit to your clinic and I really like my new doctor! She is a very nice and told me how to treat my rosacea even better than any dermatologist I’ve ever seen for it! Just waiting to get my March disability check to buy the products at Walmart I need and to pick up the prescription she ordered! Very nice and friendly staff too! I’m very happy with all of the staff there I met!
