Getting to know Dr. Joanna Budz

Dr. Budz is a licensed clinical psychologist providing individual therapy for adults. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from cognitive behavioral and insightbased treatments. Dr. Budz believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is key to fostering therapeutic engagement, insight, awareness, selfacceptance, and growth. She most enjoys working with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, interpersonal communication issues, worklife balance, and the management of life transitions. With all clients, she works to increase mindfulness and the use of adaptive coping skills. Dr. Budz received her clinical doctoral degree from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. She completed her predoctoral internships at the Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center and also at the Brandeis University Psychological Counseling Center. Dr. Budz completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. Dr. Budz treats clients in our Financial District office.
