About Dr. Joanna Trigg
Joanna Trigg DO is a Board Certified Dermatologist who treats both adult and pediatric patients. She is a native New Yorker who grew up in Brooklyn and attended Bishop Kearney High School. After graduating summa cum laude and earning a bachelor’s degree in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology from Wagner College, Dr. Trigg received her medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. She then completed her residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, New York in affiliation with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
During her residency, Dr. Trigg attended, presented and lectured at many conferences. She also served as Chief Dermatology resident during the final year. Training in New York City gave her exposure to a very large and diverse patient population.
Dr. Trigg is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and enjoys medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, with her expertise in acne, rosacea and skin cancer screenings. Dr. Trigg enjoys working with her patients to provide a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan for all their needs!

I was so thankful to have gotten an appointment the night before when my own drs office was two weeks out to be seen. Dr. was great, professional, knowledgeable and so patient with me. The assistant in the room was also so nice and friendly. I had a very uncomfortable cyst removed and she handled me with such compassion. Thank you for such a great first experience at your practice.
