“Words cannot describe my gratefulness to Dr. Johan Anh. For the past 2 years, I have been dealing with sciatica-like symptoms to which no doctor or any amount of physical therapy could help soothe. About Johan Ahn
Johan completed his advanced professional training at Bastyr University in Seattle, WA and was awarded with a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MSAOM). He is nationally board certified with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Johan specializes in treating sports injuries and supporting those with chronic or acute pain from exercising or other mechanisms of injury.
My father is a physician which led me down the path of working towards the profession of healing. After playing tennis, volleyball, and golf competitively for many years, it took a toll on my shoulders where eventually I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my dominant shoulder.
After years of rest, physical therapy, and medication, I sought alternative care in chiropractic and acupuncture care. To my surprise, acupuncture was the only treatment that alleviated any pain to allow me to return to my active life of sports by reducing my recovery time and also overall pain level.
My fascination with acupuncture and the success of my treatments made me want to learn more. After four years of school, over 1500 clinical hours, and three board exams, I became a licensed acupuncturist. I was trained in the style of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Chinese herbal medicine. During my acupuncture training, I worked with many different ailments including patients with cancer, patients with autoimmune diseases, patients with psychological ailments, patients with musculoskeletal ailments, and much more. Being able to immediately improve the quality of life for my patients with non-invasive treatment is why I love this kind of work.

Dr. Ahn was fantastic. He completed a very thorough evaluation and addressed all three of my chief complaints during the first visit.
It was very evident that the doctor had a lot of experience and was well-versed with how the body connects and its response to acupuncture.
I highly recommend Dr. Ahn. He had great bedside manner and he made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Ahn asked great follow up questions to my submitted paperwork that were thorough and not overbearing at all. ?
