A dedicated obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Johanna Lee is committed to patient care and strives to ensure her patients’ speedy recovery. She earned her master’s degree in public health from Yale University and another master's degree in graduate medical sciences from Boston University. Furthermore, she received her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, followed by a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
Looking after the communities of Teaneck and Rutherford, NJ, Dr. Lee is available for consultations and examinations at Women's Health Care Group. She is also affiliated with Holy Name Medical Center. Individuals visit her for a host of medical concerns, such as birth control, sexual dysfunctions, vaginal infections, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and pelvic pain. I felt rushed but I think it's due to a busy day at the clinic. I overheard one of the doctors saying that they want to get through patients faster and rushed the nurses to fill the waiting areas. Their tone was fine, but I felt the urgency to move faster myself.. it gave me a little anxiety.

Dr. Lee is very easy to speak to and I appreciated the fact that there was no bias or stigma behind her recommendations and/or her questions. In the past, I have encountered many OBG's guilting me into birth control just because I wasn't married and it always irritated me to no end! She asked if I was on any BC and left it at that, which I appreciate so much. I look forward to seeing her again and again.

I was so nervous, since this was my first OBGYN visit ever. She reassured me and is very informative. She answered all my questions in a non-judgmental manner and gave thorough responses.
