About Dr. John Keaney

I enjoy forming longitudinal relationships with patients and collaborating with them in shared decision-making to address their health goals in an evidence-based manner. Given my combined training in internal medicine and pediatrics, I am also interested in providing quality primary care for those diagnosed with conditions in childhood that continue to have an impact across the lifespan (e.g., congenital cardiac conditions, survivors of childhood cancer). My wife and I enjoy growing our collection of board games. We also love to explore different cultures and cuisines through travel, trying new restaurants, and experimenting in the kitchen. The audio that gets me through my gym routines fluctuates between podcasts recapping the latest news in basketball and reality TV, as well as audiobooks centered on 20th-century history or the history of medicine.

Very friendly, and knowledgeable. Very clean and fast
Verified patient
The office seemed to place very little value on patient care. While this may not be entirely the doctors’ fault, my first visit felt rushed. There were almost no follow-up questions. The visit was clearly timed, and once the limit was reached, I was told to leave and either make another appointment or continue to bring up any further concerns online. I understand that finding a primary care doctor in Boston can be challenging, but I would avoid this clinic if you can. If you like a certain doctor, ask the doctor if s/he has another location to offer service.
