About Dr. John Kim
Dr. John Kim is an acupuncturist and herbalist at KMU Wellness in Duluth, GA. He specializes in pain management, stress relief, TMJ disorders, digestive health, and emotional wellness. He is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care that holistically treats the whole body, mind, and spirit.
Dr. Kim earned his bachelor's degree from Boston University. He then obtained his master's degree in traditional Chinese medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science - New York and his doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science - San Diego. He completed his integrative oncology internship at Mount Sinai Hospital and pain management internship at Veterans Affairs Hospital. He is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Additionally, Dr. Kim teaches at Pacific College of Health and Science, helping train the next generation of practitioners in facial rejuvenation, gynecological care, and acupuncture technique. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading, and cooking.

Dr. John is an incredibly attentive person who able to explain his treatment process well and is extremely helpful with suggesting preventative measures that has ease most of my pain.
I went to him initially due to shin splints from running and he was able to quickly see this as a symptom of something much bigger. In all my visits with Dr. John, he has consistently shown incredible patience in hearing the other ailments I was experiencing, even though there were times where I was unable to describe the my pain completely. He's an attentive and friendly person, who is also fun to get to know and learn from due to his depth of knowledge and experience.
As mentioned before, the preventative measures he has suggested has helped immensely and are still alleviating my pain to this day. I cannot recommend him enough.
