This visit with the doctor and the assistant was great. The people working at the front desk not so much. Said that zocdoc isn’t used for appointments, it clearly is. Attitude over the phone when resolving an issue as well.
Very professionable and great bedside manner. Dr. L'Insalata took time to explain everything to me. Would highly recommend him. Would definitely use him avain!!
The doctor was good but the wait time was unnecessary. I waited over an hour to see the doctor who took ten minutes to exam me.
This is my second time seeing Dr. L'Insalata and he's great. They fit me in on just 2 hours notice, even though it was an already full schedule. The staff aren't warm and fuzzy, but they are efficient. Highly recommend Dr. L'Insalata.
Doctor L'Insalata is very thorough and really listens to what your complaints are. He caught something that was missed in the ER and I am grateful.
Really helpful, patient, supportive, and understanding! Cannot recommend highly enough!
Pleasant staff and Doctor was concise but patient in explaining the diagnosis.
Meh. It was okay. I actually thought the staff were nice as compared to what reviewers said. Dr. L'Insalata however was too fast. Perhaps because I was the last one? But still, my achilles pain is chronic and sometimes I cannot even walk on it. I want to know why this keeps happening. He literally just shrugged his shoulders, did not ask questions about myself because in doing so may be a reason why I'm exacerbating it. It did not seem like he was listening to me, and seemed annoyed that I asked questions. I could feel that he was trying to rush out of there, I just felt it. I guess I could say at least I feel better not knowing that its probably not really bad? No sense of humor. That's completely fine, I could deal with that. I'm not there to be amused but he left so quickly without saying even good bye. Okay................
Complete waste of time. Unfortunately, I couldn't find professional experience I was looking for. Dr. L'Insalata seemed annoyed that I asked any questions and tried as fast as possible to leave the appointment. He didn't prescribe me anything for my kneecap pain. Dr. L'Insalata said that he couldn't see any issues. I don't know how it's possible to make any conclusions without seeing an X-Ray for the least. I wouldn't ever want to see this doctor again.
Always reassuring. Dr. Is very personable and staff professional and efficient.
Highly recommended to anyone who needs orthopaedic attention and care.
Excellent doctor! Extremely professional and efficient. X-Rays done in the office, very convenient. I am a physician myself and see the excellence right away! Highly recommended. A bit of waiting time, but ok and it was less than an hour...when you go to the doctors office, you may expect that, it was within reasonable limits.
I was surprised that I waited over 30 minutes to see the doctor. The front desk was very busy. I had already seen this doctor in the past but they needed me to fill out an additional form. Finally I went to see the doc, I felt like he didn't take the time to listen to what I needed. He seemed very routine. Once he knew what was wrong, he just rattled off without taking a minute to ask additional questions from me. I wish the experience was better. I left feeling that I wasted my time. More importantly I spent a month waiting to find out that my insurance wouldn't cover the injection I was hoping for to reduce pain. The office told me they were too busy to call my insurance company. Overall unsatisfactory as I wish they were more 'on the ball' with things.
I was very disappointed at this doctor he is to fast and the staff is very unfriendly,....
Waited for quite some time but that was due to the high volume of patients in the office.
We found the doctor to be very informative and patient . Takes the time to explain his findings and diagnosis .
He's very good at what he does.
Seemed to be very competent and caring.Wait time was not bad at all.
I have been a patient of his for quite a number of years. I have always been completely satisfied. He is a good doctor and is very pleasant.
wonderful doctor!!! nice office stff. keep in mind that the office in bay ridge only has street parking.
Over 3 hr wait!!!
Visit with doctor went well, however still had to fill out forms that I did on line
I was very pleased with his staff and him! He was very kind to my 5 yr old son. He came across as very knowledgable and put my mind at ease the moment he began to talk! So thankful I found him on ZocDoc!
It was fine even though he couldn't help me. He doesn't do knee transplants...too bad. His disposition is do much better than the ones on Staten Island that do!
It was a good experience in parts. The staff were nice and attentive. no too friendly but its ok not a big deal. I took my 19 months old son, he tilt one of his foot when he walks or run and I was concern about it because 1) is not normal and 2) he falls too much, so Doctor L'Insalata saw him, but my son was not a fun of him or any other doctor but even he couldn't check him the right way because my son was kicking and crying every time he touch him, he was patient with him but I might say not too smiley either. Also I told the doctor that he just tilt the right foot and my sister in law who was with me made my son walk to me, but he did it so fast that I wanted to tried again because I was so sure that he didn't see it but Doctor L'Insalata said he saw it and that my son tilt both feet so I said no its just the right one but he insisted it was both so I showed him a video that I took of him walking and he finally admitted it and said" Oh I see what you saying". I wish he can listen more and pay attention to little details. We as parents know our kids better and know every little things they do and how they do it. Doctors should take that as a consideration. At the end Doctor L'Insalata said my son is fine and that its normal in some kids to walk like that at that age and if in 1-2 years he is still doing it or get worse to take him back. I'm going to give some time but not a year and if my son's walk doesn't improve I will take him but not to him but to another place, maybe some good pediatrician who understand kids better.
Dr. L'Insalata, is very knowledgeable, he listens to the patient carefully, thoroughly
