More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

John is one of the few drs who doesn’t make you feel like he’s rushing to the next patient. He was kind and asked questions for clarification showing he truly wanted to know what got me to where I am today. When I told him about the recent loss of my son, he showed genuine compassion. He made clear that he is always available in between appointments. I am happy to have found a dr I can trust.

Dr John is a blessing to the state of Texas. He’s the first doctor who genuinely wanted to understand the root cause of the mental health problems as they are presenting at time of appointment. I would gladly fly across Texas if I had to just to have a doctor with his bed side manner, his servant heart, and his empathy that is so perfectly engraved in his standard of care.

I am happy I made the decision to go see John Muthiga PMHNP coz of to my depression and anxiety. I am very pleased with the experience i got. Am so glad to know that providers like Mr. John Muthiga exist in this state. I have been to so many other providers but Mr. John Muthiga is exceptional . He is such a compassionate listener, extremely knowledgeable , my situation have improved drastically , am able to function at a capacity that l haven’t been for a long time, am joyful, am calm, my friends and family are happy with the progress in my life. This provider gave me my life back.
