Sometimes he's a little bit hard to understand but he always covers all the bases and makes sure I have what I need.

A intake appointment took over 2 hours. He would ask one question and then after my clear answer ask the same question or repeat what he understood and it was incorrect. For example he asked about siblings I said I’m the youngest of four with two older sisters and an older brother. He asked me to repeat and then after a few moments repeated his note which was “so you’re the oldest with 4 siblings” That was almost the entire appointment. I would answer his question he would be quiet writing notes and then what he would repeat back to me was outright incorrect. I’m calling the office tomorrow to set up follow up care with another at the office because it was not great experience.

After being asked to log in promptly at 4:20 I was informed by Dr that he was running behind and would I mind doing it 5:00pm instead. I agreed. 5:00 came and I was texted by Dr after logging on for video that he was in a crisis with another client. He asked if I could continue to delay until he was free. I declined. That proceeded to elicit I stream of phone calls including the first of which after declining that the good Dr was upset in would not hang out all night eating and that would reschedule. He became even more upset when I declined to rebook with him. I understood that he had an emergency. I'd want the same treatment. Then the good Dr hung up the phone abruptly with no good bye or apology. I sent him a text asking if he was a 5 year old and where did he learn bedside manner. Apology after apology and his so called only concern was for my treatment. Good luck with anyone needing any serious medical treatment with this clown.

I’ve been struggling with multiple mental health issues my entire life. I’m 59 years old and this was the first time I think I might get somewhere and make some progress. He is not a doctor that is going to give you the ten minute joke visit and write you a prescription like you’re normally used to, and send you to find a poorly trained psychotherapist. He does the therapy and is taking the time to try to figure out how to help you by unraveling how you got where you are, patiently. I’ll be seeing him again next week. ??

Productive overall A little difficult at first based upon Various factors But he did work hard to get it done I will Reserve full evaluation after several visits it is not fair to any doctor you evaluate him on the first visit or the second visit because long-term care is what I need for my medication Management but the biggest reason I would recommend him in general is that he's a medical doctor and medical doctors have a different perspective and care when it comes to their patients in Psych I will reserve the full evaluation over the next several months

First appointment was an intake appointment which ran long but other than that my provider was AMAZING he listened to my concerns and was very open when it came to giving me his suggestions I would definitely recommend
    Verified patientVideo visit
Terrible he didn't show for scheduled appointment and no one even bothered to call to apologize or explain why he didn't show up. Seeing as how I am already having suicidal ideation this doesn't help at all. Now I have to reschedule AGAIN and wait for help which may or may not even actually exist. I'm losing all hope.

    Great experience. Great doctor

Dr Samaan is a great caring doctor which is very uncommon these days. He took his time, was not in a rush and all his attention was focused on me and my well-being. We discussed many options of medication and he was willing to educate me and inform me of the best treatment. I would highly recommend him for a psych doctor I've seen many and he has been the best one. Definitely book your virtual visit here you'll be grateful. I know I will be seeing him again.

Horrible.. I had to reschedule two different times, then another prescriber was arguing with me about the assistance gave me a call to let me know that the doctor went on an emergency, when nobody at all gave me a call. This is just bizarre..

I called multiple times because I was supposed to receive a call with video instructions. I still haven’t heard back and waited the entire hour without receiving call
