About Dr. Johnny Michel
Dr. Johnny Michel, MD, graduated from Université d'Etat d'Haïti Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmacie. He then trained as an orthopedic surgeon and practiced for almost a decade. After moving to the United States, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at One Brooklyn Health, Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Michel is a multi-lingual primary care physician who believes in inclusivity and in a true and genuine patient-physician relationship built on trust and commitment. A father of two wonderful children and married, Dr. Michel is also a martial artist who enjoys spending his free time with his family and at the movies.

This office is GREAT! The doctor and his staff are extremely: professional, patient, knowledgeable, and courteous. In addition, his office is about 200 feet from Bethesda East Hospital. Very Convenient.

I had such a pleasant experience from the moment I entered Dr. Michel ‘s office the office environment was so peaceful , clean it smelled like fresh linen. The office staff was pleasant, welcoming, and very helpful in preparing me for my appointment prior by sending me the intake forms. Dr. Michel was easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable to ask questions, he listened and was thorough in his explanation my experience was definitely a 10/10 and I look forward to my next follow up visit.

Dr. Johnny Michel is the best doctor I've seen since I moved to Florida 8 years ago. He actually listens and actually cares about you. He's not pushing any unnecessary prescriptions or tests that you don't need. He honestly listens to you and suggests treatment options. He will definitely stay as my PC forever. Run don't walk to book an appointment with him he's frigging awesome! The staff is great too! The office is very clean!

This is the first PCP I’ve been to in Florida that it feels like they genuinely care. Dr. Michel is attentive, kind, and proactive. I glossed over some chronic hip pain I’ve been having and he immediately spent 5-10 minutes examining, measuring, and assessing before offering practical advice and a referral to a sports physician. I think the American health system has taught us to minimize our pain and discomfort in short 15-minute or less appointments and long wait times, so it’s nice having a doctor who will vouch for your health even in ways you might forget to.
The office staff was also very sweet. I went on a Monday and was immediately seen. It feels like a small family office. Nothing is state of the art, but it’s clean and feels slow and considerate versus chaotic and rushed. The nurse who took my vitals seemed new and was a little slow, but was very detail oriented and will gain more skill and smoothness with time.
Overall highly recommend for their care and attentiveness.
