He then went on to Harvard's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where he completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. While Dr. Erlich enjoys all aspects of gastroenterology, he has a passion for managing inflammatory bowel disease and has published several research articles regarding care for IBD patients. My appointment with the gastroenterologist today was pretty underwhelming. The doctor spent maybe five minutes with me, didn’t comment on my diet or offer much guidance at all. I was just told to wait for a test that’s scheduled in a month, and that was it. Nothing insightful or helpful for now.
