Dr. Gordon grew up in Plantation. He graduated from Nova High School in 1990 and then attended the University of Florida in Gainesville. He continued his studies at Nova Southeastern College of Optometry where he graduated in 2000. After working for 2 prominent ophthalmologists in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, Dr. Gordon worked in corporate optometry for 8 years building 2 successful practices. This combination of diverse environments covered the spectrum from LASIK and complex surgical cases to contact lens fittings for keratoconus and routine eye exams.
This allows him a unique perspective of the field and, with his passion for exceptional health care, he continually strives to make the experience for his patients as memorable as possible. Dr. Gordon currently lives in Cooper City. He has 2 children and when he is not working, he enjoys a very active lifestyle including wake surfing, scuba diving, snowboarding, and jiu jitsu. His daughter plays travel soccer and his son is working on his black belt in jiu jitsu.
