About Dr. Jonathan Leung
Dr. Jonathan Leung is an Attending Physician at C.S. Leung Rehabilitation Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, New York, in 2003. He subsequently completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Upon graduating, he obtained board certification through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). He holds a New York State License in Medicine and Surgery, along with a license to perform acupuncture in the State of New York.
Dr. Leung practices in Manhattan alongside his father, Ching S. Leung, M.D., F.A.A.P.M.R., who was the first Chinese physician to open a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation private practice in lower Manhattan. With more than 40 years of combined experience, they have successfully treated over 18,000 patients. In addition to seeing patients at his Manhattan office, Dr. Jonathan Leung is a Clinical Instructor at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan and maintains a hospital affiliation there. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR), New York County Medical Society (NYCMS), Chinese American Independent Practice Association (CAIPA), Chinese American Medical Society (CAMS), and the Association of Chinese American Physicians (ACAP).
