Dr. Jon Sheinberg, MD, is a board certified cardiologist with extensive experience in cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment. Known for his patient centered approach, he brings a unique background shaped by 15 years of service in the U.S. Air Force, where he rose to the rank of Major and served in critical care leadership during Operation Enduring Freedom. Dr. Sheinberg completed his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine, residency in Internal Medicine at USAF Medical Center Keesler, and fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center. He remains dedicated to advancing heart health initiatives, particularly within the law enforcement community, and founded the Cardiac Screening Initiative, which has screened more than 15,000 officers nationwide. Outside of medicine, Dr. Sheinberg continues his longstanding commitment to public service through his work in law enforcement and enjoys teaching, research, and community engagement.
