About Jonathan Simon
My favorite cases are the complex or "knotty" ones. Sometimes what seems difficult can have a very simple solution from an acupuncturist's perspective. Other times the solution is simply overlooked. I have been the first practitioner to actually examine a patient's back or neck when all the others have sent them for MRI or X-ray many times.
In the past 20 years, I have worked mostly in private practice but also spent six years with Dr. Charles Gerson at the Mind Body Digestive Center. I have presented at Grand Rounds in numerous hospitals as well. I earned my Master's in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. Personally, I don't like the term "alternative medicine." To me, it doesn't matter how you get healed, just that you get better-and that is my highest priority: getting someone better and out of the office.
In my spare time, you will find me running, mountain biking, or skiing. I like all sports that don't involve a ball. My favorite author is P.G. Wodehouse, and I reread a Jeeves story at least once a month.
