Ms. Jordyn Simons is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care for individuals of all ages. She offers both in-person and virtual appointments at Hope Behavioral Health in Wyomissing, PA.
Jordyn specializes in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns. Her approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on active listening and creating a safe space where patients feel heard and supported.
She is committed to evidence-based medication management and takes time to explain treatment options, answer questions, and partner with patients in setting achievable goals. Jordyn believes in treating the whole person and providing care that is personalized, respectful, and grounded in empathy.

What should a new client know about working with you?
Your treatment goals and personal experiences are at the center of my practice. I believe that effective psychiatric care begins with listening—truly understanding your story, your symptoms, and what wellness looks like for you. My approach to medication management is collaborative and individualized; I take time to explain options, answer questions, and ensure you feel comfortable and informed every step of the way.
I don’t believe in simply labeling an illness or offering a one-size-fits-all plan. Instead, I focus on treating the whole person—addressing not only symptoms, but also lifestyle, stressors, and strengths that influence your overall wellbeing. My goal is to build a lasting, trusting relationship where you feel safe, respected, and validated.
Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, or other mental health concerns, I strive to create a nonjudgmental and supportive space where you can explore your options and regain balance in your life. Together, we’ll work toward creating a personalized treatment plan that promotes both stability and long-term wellness.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Each session is individually tailored to each client and their specific needs.
First starting with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. This allows for a thorough and proper assessment of mental health needs and diagnosis.
Next generating a course of action and treatment plan moving forward with the client. If medication management is necessary, it can be initiated.
Referral to a psychotherapist can also be initiated if fit for treatment.

Jordyn was lovely. I was extremely anxious as I’ve recently had bad experiences trying to continue care after moving to PA. I have a long, complex history. She listened and asked clarifying questions that proved she was understanding. She probably thought I was crazy because I just kept thanking her and was very outwardly nervous and over-explaining, but I didn’t feel judged at all and was able to be open and honest about my history and needs. I went into the appointment with a positive attitude and so did she. I REALLY appreciate it. She even asked if I wanted to talk about anything else before ending the appointment but I knew she had another patient to see. I only knew that because I asked, she didn’t make me feel rushed at all. I was so relieved after the appointment and look forward to going over some more options with her in a couple weeks. I also got a notification from the pharmacy shortly after the appt that she already sent in my prescription.
