Hello everyone, I'm Jose.
Mental health is a journey that may bring about multiple and complex behavioral situations in our lives. Have you ever felt like giving up? Experienced a lack of enjoyment or motivation? Noticed an aura of disengagement with your friends, family, or coworkers? Are you increasingly developing low frustration tolerance that keeps you from feeling accomplished in your daily life, whether from symptoms of anxiety, depression, mood instability, substance use, or psychosis?
You are not alone! We can form a caring team centered on your individual situation. Together, we develop a holistic plan of action that involves mind, body, and spirit to achieve and maintain your mental wellness. No matter the complexity of your present mental health condition or life struggle, I am here to help and work with you. In our sessions, you will feel safe, supported, and motivated to continue your life journey without fear of stigma or lack of support from your provider. Additionally, in each session, rest assured you will be treated with respect and a nonjudgmental approach.
I hold a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Charles R. Drew University. I formulate treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and FDA-approved pharmacological treatments. I look forward to working with you and being part of your mental wellness!
What should a new client know about working with you?
In our sessions you can expect to be treated with respect and engage in a nonjudgment dialogue to gather a full sense of your present situation and complete mental health history to formulate an appropriate and holistic plan of care. I will also triangulate our discussion on present stressors, life changing events, and overall important topics in your life to elaborate a road map that will lead us to achieve and maintain your mental well-being.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
