I had a very positive experience with Dr Charles. He was calm, patient, and truly listened to everything I was describing. He didn’t rush me, and he explained things clearly in a way that made me feel understood instead of overwhelmed. What stood out to me most was that he took my symptoms seriously, offered thoughtful guidance, and helped me feel reassured. I left the appointment feeling relieved and supported. I would absolutely go back and would recommend him to anyone looking for a psychiatrist who is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring.

For some reason, during an ADHD evaluation, I was asked about my weight. I assumed for medication dosage if I needed it. He told me I was overweight, which I explained that I lift weights and don’t think BMI is accurate. I am very healthy. He said it’ll be a problem as I get older and should weight 105lbs, which is even 20lbs lighter than BMI would suggest. He then prescribed me something I did not agree with, and didn’t really explain the goal or the side effects. He did say it has been used to lose weight, LOL. It was a very uncomfortable experience.
