As a dual licensed (family and psychiatry) nurse practitioner with a Master's degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Liberty University, I value the ability to work with and guide patients aimed at promoting health and wellness.
I am passionate about creating a space where you can feel heard and understood. Striving to work with individuals on their own terms, I provide empathetic and effective mental health support. My goal is to empower individuals to achieve optimal mental well-being through a combination of evidence-based interventions, collaboration with specialists, and coordination with primary care providers.

Terrible experience. My appointment was scheduled for 10am this morning.
On Friday, I got a reminder telling me to come 15 minutes early - so I did. But I couldn’t even get into the office. The door was locked, nobody answered the doorbell, and the phone number listed just played an automated message telling me to “contact the provider directly.” How?
I waited and waited.
At 10:18, I got an email saying “we hope this email finds you well” and asking to reschedule my appointment — no apology, no explanation — while I was still sitting in the waiting room. I had been there for over half an hour and nobody even acknowledged me.
This would be unacceptable from any professional. But from a mental health provider? It’s beyond disappointing. I took time off work this morning to get help during a really rough depressive episode. What I got instead was complete disregard for my time and mental health. I left feeling worse than when I arrived.

I really recommend the services of Dr. Herskovic, he's warm and tactful, made me feel welcome and accepted. I moved to NY recently from alabama and I had in the past experiences where I felt my therapist was at times judgmental to a point where I got uncomfortable and couldn't get insights directing me to a better place. With Dr. Herskovic it's the exact opposite!
