I strive to provide comprehensive care to adults dealing with mood disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. As a nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master's in Nursing from Walden University, along with a Bachelor's degree from Midwestern State University and an Associate's from Vernon College, I have honed my skills in combining medication management with evidence-based psychotherapy. This training enables me to address the complex needs of my patients effectively. Through a patient-centered approach, I work closely with individuals to identify areas of focus and develop personalized treatment plans that promote balance and overall wellness.
In my practice, I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and emotions. What is your typical process for working with clients?
In my medical practice, I strive to create a patient-centered environment where empathy and understanding are the foundation of our relationship. By combining the latest research in medication management and psychotherapy with a deep respect for each patient's unique experiences and values, I work closely with patients to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses their immediate needs and long-term goals. This collaborative approach not only educates patients about their condition but also empowers them with the skills and knowledge needed to manage their symptoms effectively.
