Not professional enough. I told Dr. Pollak my symptoms but he argued with me that it was not a big deal. However, later I went to a specialist myself and after several examinations even procedures it showed up that my symptoms were not my illusions at all. I couldn't imagine if I listened to him and did nothing. I didn't feel my health were taken seriously here. Will never come back again.

Had 2 issues to resolve. 1 threw my back out. Sunday had the appointment Tuesday. Suggestion was rest for 2 weeks. I can’t stand up sit down or walk. Been on the couch or the bed now for a week with no change. 2 had sinus pain for over a month to the point my right ear and right jaw gets a sharp pain aside from the pressure in the sinuses. On top of that I developed a sore on the roof of my mouth. He asked what it looked like said I can’t see the roof of my mouth. Asked for pics to be sent. I urged to come in person. Said doesn’t take sick patients in person. I pointed out that taking pics of the roof of my mouth probably wouldn’t turn out well. I obliged and sent on Tuesday and didn’t hear anything. Called the office Friday to follow up and the person who answered said the pics were inconclusive. I called them. No follow up. Now Friday afternoon 2 calls in and no follow up. I’d walk to urgent care if it wasn’t for my back issue

Went for an annual physical and this doctor did not even perform basic tasks and was skipping steps/rushing through. He never measured height and only weighed me at the end of the visit so that he could set a weight loss goal for another visit he wanted me to book

This was an awful experience. I needed a sports physical for my boxing Membership. The office had me email all the relevant paperwork hours before my appointment. The Dr took my blood pressure on both arms then proceeded to tell me why he couldn't perform any of the necessary tests for my form. He was telling me i had high blood pressure and when i showed him my blood pressure taken a week earlier from an in office Dr checkup he said they were just numbers. I wasted my time for nothing. Dr pollack did nothing and i was baffled. He charged me for sitting in a room with him telling me he wasn't capable of performing any tests necessary for my physical. This was a complete waste of time and epitomizes the grotesqueness of the failures of our healthcare system. Take your money and do nothing. Dr pollack had my information in advance and could've told me he wasn't equipped for this physical but chose not to. Stay away from this guy if you care about your health.

I was greated by a friendly front desk staff. The wait time after completing paperwork was about 20 minutes or so. Dr. Pollack was super responsive to my concerns and overall well being.

My appointment was virtual seeing as I was showing Covid symptoms. I am fairly sure it’s just a sinus infection since I tested negative but was happy to do virtual. The doctor did not call me at my appointment time and I instead had to call the office myself. I was then called back by the doctor a few minutes later. The appointment itself was perfectly fine but I was in desperate need to get my prescriptions before the weekend. I had to call the office 5 times to get the scripts sent to my pharmacy and even when they finally did send them, they did so by voicemail and asked me to call the pharmacy to check that they got their message. When I did call the pharmacy, the advised that the doctors office forgot one of the prescriptions causing me to have to call back. By then the office was closed causing me to have a very poor patient experience. I shouldn’t have had to call once let alone 5 times to sort out my medicine.

The doctor has a friendly personality and I have nothing against him personally. However, I am not satisfied with this physician will be switching to a PCP who is more on top of things and doesn’t take shortcuts and brushes off complaints/refer to specialists for basic complaints such as tinea pedis, and does extremely barebones physical examinations/incomplete vitals (did not take height/weight). And of course, their front desk is disorganized.

Dr. Joseph Pollak is incredible. Not only has he taken great care of my health he has amazing bedside manners. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming his patient!

Even though it was a telehealth visit, Dr. Pollak was attentive, helpful and a very good listener. He made sure to address each of the issues I was having and ensured me that some of my anxiety wasn’t necessary. He also ensured me that as soon as I get my blood work back, I could come into the office for an in person visit to follow up on my bloodwork if necessary. He was incredibly nice and welcoming, especially since I’m a new patient. I highly recommend him and look forward to meeting him when COVID is less of an issue!

I called to make an appointment for annual physical. I was told that, due to COVID, the DR would do a virtual phone screening - then send me to get my blood work done - then meet me in person to review results & do the physical.
Come my phone call, the doctor was 30 minutes late. He then asked me why I did a phone call when he can't do a physical over the phone. I explained the him what his team told me. He seemed confused but asked me about my family history & health. He then made a series of remarks that I found extremely unprofessional. He told me to stop eating chocolate, as a way to curb my anxiety. I told him that I was concerned with my iron levels, and he passed off my symptoms as allergies and dismissed my concern altogether. I quickly ended the call after that.
I don't know if it was an off day or what ... but my experience really indicated to me that the Doctor did not care about what I was feeling or my health concerns. This seemed to be an inconvenience to him. Overall, it was completely offputting and I will not be returning.
