Dr. Morris is a psychiatrist based near Atlanta, GA, with extensive experience in treating the most severe psychiatric conditions. After completing his psychiatry residency at Zucker Hillside Hospital in 2012, Dr. Morris served as an Assistant Professor at The Mount Sinai Hospital for 2 years. Since 2014, he has had a total of 7 years in leadership positions as Medical Director at two hospitals in the Atlanta area. Currently, he is using his experience in academic medicine and leadership positions to start an independent venture aimed at reshaping the nature of mental health delivery.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Virtual or In-person meetings available. First visit should be in-person. In-person available on Tuesdays or Wednesdays only. Payment for first appointment ($250) is due immediately. More information is available on my website.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Because of my experience with treatment resistance, I know that many patients are saddled with inaccurate diagnoses and doomed to "fail." I start with a detailed examination in order to ensure accuracy and greatly improve the chances of symptom relief. I also maintain a collaborative environment to leverage patient experiences and refine treatment over time.

Wow this was the best experience I’ve had with a psychiatrist. Dr. Morris really listened and took the time to educate and throughly explain my diagnosis and why he was recommending the medications he did. He gave me insight in to why I might feel how I was feeling and made me feel very comfortable and confident leaving the appointment that I was on the right track to feeling better. He multiple times said I am always welcomed and encouraged to reach out with questions and updates on how I’m feeling while waiting for our next next appointment. I would highly recommend him as a psychiatrist. He also has very reasonable low cost out of pocket appointments.
