This booking is for an FDA-authorized at-home cervical cancer screening with Teal Health. Same HPV test, with the same accuracy as screening in-clinic, but now you can collect your own sample privately from home, and mail it to the lab for testing.
During the 10 min. video visit, Joslin Ruiz, FNP-C will review your screening history and prescribe your at-home kit. After screening, she will share your results and assist with next steps, if needed.
At-Home Screening is for people 25–65 years old, with a cervix. It is not suitable for those who are pregnant, immunocompromised, or have a history of reproductive cancer or LEEP procedures. For more info, visit getteal.com.

Joslin is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has practiced in a variety of settings, including internal medicine, family practice, and women’s health. She loves collaborating with patients to find methods that work well for their lifestyle. She strongly believes in the importance of providing tools that allow people the confidence to make informed decisions about their health. Joslin completed her graduate studies at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas.
For fun, Joslin loves being outside in the elements and spending time with family. Hiking with her dogs, gardening, or helping her husband with the million projects he embarks on, is where she’ll be most of her weekends.
