About Joylene Fadrigo EDUCATION Joylene Fadrigo as the great philosopher, Lao Tzu stated, ” Do the difficult things while they are easy and do the great things while they are small. A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step”. This described my journey as a professional. I earned my Bachelor’s degree at University of St. Tomas- Manila, Philippines. I have been a nurse for 18 years and had worked in different areas as follows: OB-ICU, telemetry, transplant coordinator, OR and ICU/CCU. I pursued advancement and obtained my Master’s degree at Walden University and earned my Board Certification for my Acute Nurse Practitioner at 2018 with ANCC. I am also a member of ENP, ANCC and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. APPROACH TO MEDICINE My first Nurse practitioner job was with Gastroenterology with an affiliation at HCA-Tomball, St. Lukes and Methodist- Willowbrook. My passion is to provide a holistic care to my patients and their family. As a provider, I explore the root cause and other possible contributing factors in an individual’s life to provide an effective and appropriate care involving their families for better transition of care especially in the acute setting and for a better outcome. PERSONAL LIFE I live in Porter-Kingwood area, married and with two miracle children. In my spare time I love to read, watch old movies, draw and cook.
