Dr. Judith Aniekwena, M.D., fondly referred to as Dr. "Ani," is a board-certified Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician with a wealth of experience. She is an active member of the American College of Physicians, Texas Medical Association, and Harris County Medical Association.
Dr. Ani's journey in medicine began at Nnamdi Azikiwe University College of Health Sciences, Nnewi, Nigeria, where she earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. After residency, she relocated to Houston and practiced for several years as a hospitalist with Memorial Hermann Hospital System and Baptist Health System.
The establishment of Macie Medical Primary Care Clinic in Katy, TX, was born from her unwavering passion and commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centric, and compassionate primary care to the communities in and around Katy.

As a first-time patient of Dr Aniekwena (Anie), I was very impressed by her facility and the relaxing atmosphere within. The receptionist was very polite and welcoming and the practice nurse who assisted with my assessment (Kenya) was very sweet and also funny.
Dr Anie herself was very charming, kind and professional and offered very good advice where appropriate and listened intently to my questions and feedback to her questions (I appreciated that I felt like I mattered). All in all a very good visit. Thank you.

This was the first time I went to see Dr. Anikwena.
I loved how the atmosphere was totally stress free. The office staff were very nice. The wonderful lady who attended me explained everything.
Dr. Ani listened to everything my son said (he was the patient). The exam was smooth and not scary for him. She explained the medications to us, and said to call if we have any questions. Dr.Ani did not hurry us.
I would definitely go there again.

Today was my first appt with Dr. Aniekwena. Firstly, the office is decorated so beautifully. It was clean, very lit, and well organized. Now to the Dr., she is amazing and so kind. She was patient, knowledgeable, and just what every patient needs when seeking care. She addressed all my concerns, eased my mind, and took her time! Let’s not forget her staff, they were pleasant as well.. Thank you Dr. Aniekwena & team for your time!

I was attended to less than 10 minutes after I arrived. It was the shortest wait time I'd ever experienced in a clinic. The staff were professional and friendly and the ambiance was the best. The doctor listened to all my concerns even though I was too sick to talk. She listened to my husband explain my symptoms but always came back to me to verify everything that has been said. She was very patient and I high recommend doctor Judith and Macie Medical.
