If you’re experiencing ongoing congestion, allergies, sinus pressure, snoring, or poor sleep, the issue may be connected to your airway. Hi, I’m Julia, a Physician Assistant at ADVENT. I grew up in Hartland, Wisconsin, and attended Clemson University before completing my physician assistant studies at Indiana University. Before joining ADVENT as a PA, I worked in urgent and primary care, caring for patients with a wide range of health concerns. My interest in medicine began in high school when I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. That experience showed me how meaningful it can be to spend quality time with patients, build connections, and find even small ways to make their everyday lives easier and more enjoyable. I knew I wanted a career that would allow me to continue developing those relationships while helping people improve their health. My goal is to create an environment where patients feel comfortable sharing any and all of their concerns. I want every patient to feel listened to and leave their visit with their questions answered and a clear understanding of their care plan. I believe being open and honest with patients is an important part of building that trust. I’m especially interested in helping patients get to the root cause of their nose and breathing concerns. Sometimes there isn’t one easy fix, and finding the source of a problem can take investigation. I enjoy working through that process with patients, educating them along the way, and building lasting relationships. I chose ADVENT because patients are put first throughout their journey and can receive comprehensive care all within one clinic. Outside of work, you can usually find me walking along the Chicago lakefront, exploring the zoo, or enjoying some Chicago deep-dish pizza. I look forward to meeting you at ADVENT!
