About Dr. Julie Waisbren
Dr. Waisbren runs an independent medical practice where patients truly come first. Unlike big system healthcare, there are no long wait times, a revolving door of staff, or fragmented care. When you call, someone answers the phone. Dr. Waisbren is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based medical care while fostering the connection that patients deserve. She sees patients for a multitude of issues ranging from preventive medicine to the treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin and completed her residency training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She is board certified in internal medicine. Prior to relocating back to Wisconsin, Dr. Waisbren was a hospital medicine specialist and clinical instructor at UW Madison and UCLA in California. She also worked as a primary care doctor in a large health system but wanted to practice more patient-centered medicine, so she left to start her own practice. She truly believes medicine is a sacred institution where the doctor-patient relationship is built on trust, compassion, and excellent care.

She was absolutely lovely for all of 10 minutes. Nurses did the blood draw which took 3 pokes. Nurses did the booster shot. Literally the appointment was so fast that I didn’t get to ask questions. Or bring up separate issues. I get one physical a year covered by insurance. It literally lasted 10 minutes. She is entirely sweet and her bedside manner is good, I just don’t know how she’s going to treat me if she can’t even do a full work up on me.
