About Dr. Jun Fu
Dr. Jun Fu is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Illinois. She graduated from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in China, where she earned her Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine degree after completing more than 3,000 credit hours of study and 1,800 credit hours of clinical internship. Dr. Fu has practiced acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for over 20 years. She worked at the Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of TCM as a physician, using a combination of TCM and Western medicine for the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases.
Dr. Fu obtained her Ph.D. in Human Immunology from Mie University and has a strong background in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medicine. She practices acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine while actively engaging in research on numerous aspects of Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
Dr. Fu has extensive experience in chronic pain management, including diagnosis and treatment of sciatic pain, acute and chronic back pain, shingles pain, trigeminal neuralgia, neurovascular headache, bone spurs, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, tennis elbow, lumbar disc herniation, cervical spondylosis, neck and shoulder pain, and various other types of pain. She also treats pollen allergies, high blood pressure, stroke and other cerebrovascular disease sequelae, dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, menopausal syndrome, infertility, gynecological conditions, insomnia, obesity, beauty concerns (such as acne and wrinkle removal/rejuvenation), diabetes, forgetfulness, neurasthenia, endocrine diseases, neurodegenerative disorders, anticancer drug effects on tumor treatment, bone development, and uses Chinese herbs for osteoarthritis and arthritis treatment.
With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Fu has earned an excellent reputation for her patient care. She enjoys music, swimming, and cooking, and is fluent in English, Chinese, and Japanese.
