He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Uzl utilizes insight-oriented care, believing that understanding a person’s feelings, thoughts, and actions equips them with the knowledge needed to make positive changes. When therapy is a key part of treatment and greater frequency of sessions is needed beyond his own, he refers and collaborates with psychotherapists to help maximize a patient’s success.
