Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
DE
Hello, my name is Justina Adoh-Ojie, a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Provider (PMHNP-BC). I aim to establish a client-provider relationship and provide you with sincere, personalized care. When I am not seeing patients, I participate in religious activities as a Christian and socialize with friends and family I set clear goals for myself and my patients by using a patient-centered therapeutic approach, motivational talk therapy, medication management, and evidence-based techniques. I encourage us to work together during assessments and evaluations, enabling my patients to participate in their care. I studied at Walden University, headquartered in Minnesota, for my master's degree, and I am ANCC board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My undergraduate degree was from Neuman University, Aston, Pennsylvania. My areas of treatment focus are patients from 18 years old to geriatric patients with Anxiety, Major Depressive Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Sleep Disorders, and Mood Disorders. My communication style is assertive, empathetic, calm, humorous, listening actively, non-judgmental, and collaborative. Always adaptable to meet the patient's needs and make them feel comfortable to discuss their problems and needs I briefly introduce myself whilst allowing my patient to do likewise. I share information with the patient on facilitating the therapeutic process and maintaining a HIPAA-compliant environment. We meet via video teleconference, and I encourage full participation of my patients in the session by seeking their openness, individual preferences, and receptiveness to care plan and treatment goals with the end result that gives the patient full therapeutic benefits of medication and therapy. I welcome collaborative interactions with active listening and show my clients the highest level of empathy, sincerity, and respect.

I booked my appointment then received a confirmation email and a few more reminder emails prior to my appointment. One of the emails said I would get instructions on how to join via zoom. I never received any instructions from the doctor’s office, and was not able to attend the appointment. I have since left two messages and no one has responded.
