About Dr. Justine Kim
Justine Kim, MD is a board eligible physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Kim is committed to providing each patient with compassionate, skilled and comfortable care. In addition, Dr. Kim speaks fluent Korean and is the perfect physician to take you through your pregnancy!
Dr. Kim attended Columbia University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude specializing in Neuroscience and Behavior. She then went on to SUNY Downstate Medical School where she not only graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society but was also awarded the 41st Annual Chandler McCuskey Brooks Award. This prestigious award is given to one medical student for outstanding achievement in the basic sciences.
Dr. Kim then completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. Dr. Kim has been awarded several research grants and worked in various research departments throughout her career. She has special clinical interests in laparoscopic surgery and family planning.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Kim enjoys painting, exploring new restaurants and walking her corgi, Frankie, around the park. Dr. Kim is fluent in Korean.

I'm still have a giant bruise from my visit,
they drew blood and the assistant who did it had no bedside manner at all.
it was like the focus was moving patients as quickly as possible and not actually giving even minor care to make sure I knew where I was going in the office.
The doctor was right by the room I was supposed to go into and could have just pointed but looked down like she she was avoiding eye contact. I sat in the room and the assistant came in, didn't acknowledge me- like she was too busy and shoved the needle in so hard and then let it hang in a way that was so painful. This visit would be a thousand times better if people actually communicated with basic human care.

I felt comfortable with how friendly everyone was. All my concerns were addressed and there was a real harmony within the office. Ever since COVID it's been difficult for me to find places that can accommodate my scheduling preferences but everything was handled with ease from the beginning of my appointment until the very end. Dr. Kim made me feel very comfortable and was very reassuring. I will definitely recommend her.

Cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Kim! I was really nervous for my annual after a recent bad experience with a male gyn, but Dr. Kim was incredibly kind and patient and made me feel very comfortable. She listened and responded thoughtfully to all my questions and concerns and explained everything she was doing. Will definitely continue seeing her! All office staff were great as well, very friendly and helpful.

It was very easy to get the appointment through Zocdoc. The office sent me some forms to fill out through email before the appointment as it was my first time. I filled them out and scanned and sent them back so I didn't have to do anything on arrival. I was called almost right away.
