About Dr. Jyotsna Vincent
Dr. Jyotsna Singh Vincent is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician dedicated to delivering thoughtful, comprehensive, and compassionate care. With more than a decade of experience in both academic and community health settings, she is known for her ability to manage complex medical conditions while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for every patient.
Dr. Vincent earned her bachelor’s degree with honors from The College of William and Mary before completing her master’s in biophysics and physiology, and her medical degree at Georgetown University. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine residency at Georgetown University Hospital, where she trained at institutions including the NIH and the VA Medical Center.
Before joining Avita MD, Dr. Vincent served as an Associate Physician at Kaiser Permanente and later at UCSF, where she cared for some of the largest patient panels in her clinic and was actively involved in teaching, mentorship, and physician leadership initiatives. She continues to be deeply committed to preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and helping patients seamlessly navigate between specialists and care settings.
Dr. Vincent believes in empowering patients through education, open communication, and a collaborative approach to health. Whether managing long-term conditions like diabetes and heart disease or providing guidance on preventive care, she strives to make every patient feel heard, respected, and supported.

Absolutely a friendly staff. I haven’t gotten to see a primary doctor since I was a kid. I’m 30 now. I was very nervous for an annual check but the staff and dr. Vincent was so friendly and easy to communicate with. Took them 30 min to see me since there were other patients as well, but it was quick. Dr Vincent had done Pap smear for me and breast check and went over my overall health needs. First time meeting her and I’m glad I chose her as my new primary care. Would recommend this place 10/10

I am a first time patient with Dr Vincent. Her office was efficient and well run. I didn't have to wait at all. The assistants did a good job preparing for the meeting. Dr Vincent to her time listening and discussing my medical issues and promptly got me started on diagnosing the issues and scheduling follow up tests. The staff quickly scheduled a convenient follow-up exam as I was leaving. Highly recommend.
