About Dr. Kacey Cornell

Dr. Kacey Cornell is a Doctor of Nursing Practice-prepared, Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with expertise in direct primary care, pain management, and medical weight loss. She uses a functional perspective and is dedicated to treating each patient as a whole individual with specific medical and psychosocial needs. She believes that the direct care model is superior to traditional care models, as it gives both patients and providers adequate time to develop a therapeutic relationship and shared management goals. Kacey obtained her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from East Texas A&M University. Prior to graduate school, she worked as an aesthetic and emergency nurse in Dallas, Texas. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Baylor University and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau. A native Texan, Kacey enjoys spending her free time with her husband and four boys, hiking, or exploring outdoor activities.
