I am a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in addiction psychiatry. I earned my medical degree from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research and completed my undergraduate studies at Michigan State University. My expertise focuses on treating addiction and alcohol abuse in high-functioning executives and young professionals. Many of my clients seek treatment because their substance use threatens their success—they have much to lose and want to regain control of their lives. Rather than labeling patients as "addicts" and placing them in one-size-fits-all programs, my practice philosophy is unique in the addiction field: a completely individualized and humanistic treatment approach. Each person is carefully assessed to develop a customized plan that may include evidence-based medication and/or individual psychotherapy. My goal is to craft finely tuned, individualized treatment plans that address each patient’s specific needs. I work collaboratively with patients to provide personalized care focused on their overall well-being. I use a holistic approach, employing all modern tools available, including—but not limited to—medication when appropriate, individual supportive psychotherapy, and motivational interviewing. My focused treatment interventions include mood disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, and substance use. Addiction often begins as self-medication for an underlying disorder. As an addiction psychiatrist, I specialize in both psychotherapy and medication management for anxiety disorders, mood disorders such as depression, and OCD, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to each individual’s unique situation.

    Doctor does not prescribe medication to patients with ADHD, a diagnosis I have been treated for in the past and marked MULTIPLE times in the "new patient" work sheets. Showed up to the clinic and was forced to reschedule with someone else. I also was told that they accepted my insurance and that I did not have a co-pay, which turned out to be false when I received the bill.
