About Dr. Kamila Agayeva
Dr. Agayeva received her medical training from Brookdale Hospital and Jamaica Hospital Medical Centers in Brooklyn, New York and was awarded her MD from Moscow University of Medicine and Dentistry. She completed her Fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry at the Moscow State Institute of Radiology and her Residency at Moscow City Hospital. She has had twelve research works published including early diagnosis of ovarian cancer by CT scans.

I visited Dr. Agayeva looking for a second opinion, and she was extremely helpful and spent time answering all my questions. Since my previous doctor did not complete all procedures during my annual exam, Dr. Agayeva performed all additional checkup and tests. I wish there were more doctors with a personal approach and respect she has for her patients. I have known her for many years since she is also my sister’s doctor. I strongly recommended to visit Dr. Agayeva if you are looking for a qualified and professional care.

Dr. Agayeva is an extremely knowledgeable and meticulous doctor. She has been a doctor in NY for a few decades In addition, to this she has also been an OBGYN in Moscow where she also taught other doctors at a University. I believe she has more experience than most doctors and that is why I have trusted her with delivering my three kids. 2 out of 3 of my deliveries were extremely complicated. I do believe that the deliveries went as smooth as they did because of her careful attention and calculated skills during my deliveries. I was also able to deliver all three of my kids vaginally. I am positive that other doctors would have pushed me into C-sections but instead she did everything in her power, using her years and years of experience to do right by me and my children. (I am not saying that there is an issue with C-sections. If you need it you need it. She is just thorough enough to make sure you avoid it in cases where you don’t).
Not everyone likes to hear it as it is. If she sees you are doing something that is impacting your health or the current situation is negative she will tell you as it is (she is not afraid to deliver negative news). (I see this as a positive). If you want someone that always has your best interest at hand and who will guide you and be with you through every difficult situation while making the most calculated best decision for you, then you can't do better than her. She is the best! I have been going to her for over 15 years. You will never be disappointed in her skills as your doctor. I also find the staff in her office very sweet and nice as well. Always willing to answer any of my questions and concerns.

Terrible experience !!! I do not usually write reviews, but her behavior was so unpleasant and off-putting that I decided to share it here. She was very rude and has a poor bedside manner. She literally told me that I was asking her silly questions, even though the questions pertained to me possibly requiring surgery. Her demeanor was very condescending and she was acting as if she did not want to be there. She yelled at her medical assistant for a minor thing and slammed the door because she was irritated with her. At the end, she rushed out of the room and did not even wait for me to ask her any questions. I have never met an ill-mannered doctor like her.
I do not recommend her.

I really liked Kamila. She was direct, to the point, and got straight to the answers. I read a lot of the reviews here before going and most people said her bedside manner wasn't great. When I go to a doctor, i'm not looking for my hand to be held, although I want to be comfortable, i'm looking for answers and a clean bill of health.
Definitely going back to her again for my yearly follow-up.

Extremely rude and mechanical. No human touch or concern what so ever!!
The vibe you get as soon as you walk in the office (from the pacients as well as the staff) is like your intruding and don't belong! I felt neglected.
When i mentioned details of my last check up and that it was performed in my country, her facial expresion and tone where indicating she felt they didnt know what they were doing! (my Aunt was my gyno in
My country... One of the best ones in the island!!!) no tact!
I wasn't even fully dressed before she had another pacient in her office. I needed to ask her a few important questions before I left about the prescriptions (anti-depressants for possible PMDD that can be a little intimidating with out proper guidance... Specially after she told me I needed to stay away from it if I wanted to have a baby!!). She sent the prescription I was told to wait till the pacient after me was done if I had further questions! Are you kidding me? I believe it was her duty to wait and ask if I understood things before she shoved me to her medical assistant and out the door!! I have never been treated so poorly in a doctor's office before!
Her med assistant was lovely and tried to acomodate me when she realized I was upset. By then I just wanted to leave.
