Kanako Morino is a NYS licensed acupuncturist, NCCAOM national board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist. She holds her Doctor in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Health and Science. Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Health and Science. Kanako treats a wide variety of illnesses. She believes that all diseases are from internal disharmony. She will focus on the cause of disease, not the symptoms. She has been specially trained in Saam 5 element acupuncture, which is a unique treatment method focusing on the idea of treating a disease derived from internal dysfunction. Kanako is also a Reiki master practitioner. Reiki is a Japanese form of light touch energy healing, which restores body energy by resonating universal energy through the practitioner’s palms to the client’s body.

I went to see Kanako because I was struggling with PMS symptoms like cramping, bloating, and mood swings. Kanako explained that these symptoms can be related to hormone imbalances, which acupuncture can help regulate. I wennt her session 3 times and my cramps were less intense, and I felt more emotionally stable.
I was struggling with acne, and I tried acupuncture with Kanako and she pointed out the acne relates to my internal heat. Probably, I had stress since I started a new job recently. I took her session sometimes and she told me what foods are related to my acne. Kanako is incredible person, and I'd recommend her if you are suffering from skin problem.
I tried acupuncture for my pollen allergies, and it was great! Kanako is nice and explained everything well. The treatment was relaxing, and I felt better almost right away. I always have headache, stomach ache, and need to lying on the bed during my period. But Since I took her session, I don't need to take a pill everyday and can control my emotion.
I wanted to relieve facial stiffness, and took her session. When she puts needles on my face, I immediately feel difference on my chin line. She also realieve stomach stiffness whixh she told me it works on my skin problem. Overall, I really love it and booked her next session.
