About Karen Adams
Karen Adams, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is dedicated to helping people live healthier lives through compassionate, patient-centered care. With over 13 years of nursing experience, she has cared for patients in a variety of healthcare settings, including the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), medical-surgical units, pre- and post-operative care, behavioral health, and home health. These diverse experiences have shaped her comprehensive approach to caring for patients across the lifespan.
Karen earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Chamberlain University. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she believes the best healthcare begins with listening. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients and empowering them through education, health promotion, preventive care, early disease detection, and personalized treatment plans. Her goal is to help patients not only manage illness but also achieve and maintain lifelong health and wellness.
Fluent in both English and Tagalog, Karen enjoys connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds and strives to make every visit comfortable, welcoming, and easy to understand. She believes that trust, kindness, and open communication are the foundation of exceptional patient care.
Outside of the clinic, Karen enjoys gardening, traveling, exploring different foods and cuisines, and spending quality time with her family. She believes maintaining a healthy work-life balance allows her to bring her best self to both her patients and loved ones.
