I am a dual-certified nurse practitioner, certified as both a family nurse practitioner and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I have over 18 years' experience in mental health. I have worked with all age groups, from three-year-old children through 100-year-old geriatric clients. I have worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I work with all mental health disorders and am passionate about working in a collaborative and empathetic approach with all my clients. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and never alone. MEDICATION PRESCRIBING: Thriveworks providers do not prescribe opioid use disorder medications, weight-loss medications, injectable psychiatric medications, long-term benzodiazepines, or sleep medications, though these may be prescribed short-term for existing clients when clinically appropriate. Controlled substances, including ADHD stimulants, are available only in select states.
